PLEASE comment, rate, and subscribe! In this video, I show you my 1957 United States Mint Set that I got as a Christmas gift. The top row shows coins made in the Denver mint, and the bottom row shows coins made in the Philadelphia mint. The half dollar shows the bust of Benjamin Franklin on the front, and the Liberty Bell on the back. The dime, quarter and half dollar are made out of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse (back) of the penny shows 2 shafts of wheat; the pennies with the shafts of wheat on the back are called “wheat pennies”. States Mint today announced the nation will honor 56 national sites to be honored through the United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Program.
